Does a 1998 chevy express 3500 A/C work if interchanged with a 1998 chevy suburbon turbo diesel 1500

It should be the same, but they did make a few different units.there real easy to tell the diferents between them. just take a look and you should be able to tell if they look the same ,If  they look the same they will work.By the way make sure that the a/c clutch has the same belt pulley . If not you will have to change them out.

some parts may be interchangeable,compressor mounting may be an issue my best bet would be to contact the dealer for interchange information.
