Does a 1st/2nd Degree burn Pass for "Great Bodily Injury" in CA?

It (the burn) looked like a typical cigarette burn. It was a few inches wide. And a week after the burn, there is a mark that is BARELY visible (even to the victim of the burn)

  1. From 12022.7 PC:

"(f) As used in this section, "great bodily injury" means a

    significant or substantial physical injury."

And that seems to be the definition used throughout the Penal Code.

So what's significant or substantial?  Dunno, but what you're asking about dodesn't sound like it.
