Does a 2002 acura RSX in good condition run/accelerate faster than a 2008 scion TC?

Because i really want a car that accelerates fast and i got $10,000 to waste either on a used car or as a down payment on a new car and i don't want to waste too much money and I'm debating on these two. Or if you know any other nice cars that are pretty fast for not that much let me know and what year. Thanks!

look for a dodge neon srt-4, or a chevy cobalt ss supercharged, or a mazda speed3. those are all decently priced quick cars.

take the RSX they are better and meaner then the Tcs will ever be. ive been in both,(well not at the same time) and they did quarter mile runs, they drove them as hard as possible, delaying every shift as long as possible and the RSX beat the Tc
