  1. 20 too 22 degrees would replace the 3 and four iron also if you play public courses brilliant around the greens for chipping . great out of the rough . add lofted wedge . very good choice

  2. If you have a consistent swing and stance, the loft of the club is going to be the key to determine the distance.

In my case, my 3 iron is 21 degrees and my 4 iron is 24 degrees, so when I picked up a 20 degree hybrid, it replaced my 3 iron and I hit it a little further than my 3 iron.

I think more of the benefit was that I hit it more consistently, not the 1 degree of loft which is only going to add a few yards.

  3. You'd be more accurate to judge where a new club fits into your set by loft, shaft length and performance. Graphite shafts are usually longer than steel shafts for the same numbered iron/hybrid, so consider this if you have fairway woods that come down close to your highest iron/hybrid. You may find that your new hybrid replaces a 5 or 7 wood for distance, regardless of the number on it. Lots of people hit a hybrid longer and more consistently than a similar lofted iron due to it's lower center of gravity when compared to longer irons. Good luck, and happy hunting.

  4. I found it tends to Replace the Yardage. My Hi3 replaces my 3 but my Hi4 is a little shorter than my regulr 4i. I se them because i play a very hard  course Not the difficulty but the Ground and like the Low roll i get out of them.
