  1. Isn't the Czech Rep. in the EU? If it is then you'll have no problems. Contact the embassy.

  2. Czech Republic is a member of the EU and therefore as mentioned, as a fellow EU passport holder (which is what I assume you mean), you will not need a visa to work permanently.

However (same situation as here in the Netherlands), officially you do not need a residence permit either. However in practice many companies will ask for a copy of it, plus authorities will ask for it for some official matters e.g. changing your driving licence over, if you buy and want a mortgage etc etc

Therefore it is wise to read up first.  Expat sites are usually a good source as it is first-hand info from people who have "been there, done that" e.g. here is one site with more details on this matter http://www.expats.cz/prague/article/prag...

    Hope this helps

  3. Members of EU Countries do not need visa. It is a basic right for them to work in which EU countries they ever want to.

  4. Sorry, but yes you definitively need a visa before getting work permanently in the Czech Republic and I´m pretty sure you at first only get a visa for a short time. I advice you to turn to a Czech embassy or consulate or ask you own authorities. Good luck!
