Does a Budgie need alot of work?

i want to get a pet that doesnt need that much work. I like a budgie but i want to know if it needs alot of work. I dont care what i have to buy for it.

They're not a lot of work as such but, they do need plenty of socialising.

If there isn't someone around a lot then it's best to get 2 budgies so they have eachother for company.

They are straight forward when it comes to cleaning them out and feeding them and they are fairly cheap maintenance.

They need to be excercised out of the cage and to be able to stretch their wings.

Budgies are entertaining pets to have, we have a male budgie at home and he is great fun...though very very noisy.

They are not a lot of work at all. I have two beautiful budgies in my room right now. You just have to change their papers, feed them, and clean the slime out of their water bowls. You can maybe decide to buy them toys, or millet, or chalk. Also, you need to clip their tiny nails once in a while. After all that's done, they're the happiest birds in the world. They are very gentle, musical, and they tweet all day. It's a joy to have them, they are no work at all.
