Do CB Radios use the same channels as walkie talkies?

  1. If you using a GMRS or FRS radio warlike talkie's, Then NO they are not the same frequencies


  2. your regular run of the mill walkie-talkies do not use the same frequencies as a CB radio. You can get a portable CB radio that runs off of a battery pack and is a little bigger than a normal walkie-talkie.

  4. Depends upon the walkie-talkie

    Some are cb walkie-talkie that use the same 26.965-27.405 mhz spectrum

    But most 2 ways are FRS radios and use a little heard CB band's underused frequinces (Called GMRS that still requires a license to transmission)... But those radios are on the 462 and 467 mhz band.

    There are a few others out there but this is the best justification.
