  1. What they make depends on where they work and what their level of experience is.  Also it depends on the state you live in.  When i was a CNA I worked in several different areas and made between 10.00/hour and 17.00/hour.  Also some CNA's can pass meds, you just have to take an extra class.


  2. med assts max out pretty low - a CNA has more earning ability.  either job is often a step towards another job in the medical field.  however, some companies pay for experience which is outside of the norm.

  3. CNA's get paid minimum wage where medical assistants can make up to $15-20 an hour depending on where they work. Medical Assistants also can administer  intervenous drugs that a doctor or nurse pre-measures. Administer pills and medications under the supervision of a nurse or doctor. CNA's are limited in their skill area that's why a lot of people are upgrading to medical assistant so they can broaden their skill range and make more money.
