  1. Yes both, a Christian has to live repentant all the time and is expected to be sinless.

  2. In all honesty, yes, we are required to repent if we do wrong.  We have the Holy Spirit to guide us and keep us away from sinful things.  If we start to do something sinful, we feel it in our heart and we know that it is wrong.  If we do it anyway, we must repent.  A person reaps what they sow.  If we do sin against the unction of the Holy Spirit we reap the just reward for our actions.

We are not sinless.  We are just forgiven.  We try to avoid all known sin and pray for guidance and instruction.  It is required to follow the Holy Spirit.  If we go against the voice of truth within our spirit, we get into trouble.

  3. Yes.  Yes.

But this is why we need God's forgiveness so much, because we simply are not able to live that sinless life, like Christ did.  We are not yet "perfected" until "that time" comes.

    Have a blesse day.

  4. Once a person has accepted Jesus, they won't "want" to sin....Christians will and do sin after accepting Jesus...but with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, we will want to get rid of that sin asap and get right with God.

  5. NO, christians are suppous ti live a rightous life so that they will have no need to repent. The bible says that there is not one perfect, the only one is Jesus. God Loves siners, but he hates their sin, Christians are not perfect but thrive to perfection.

  6. We are expected to strive to be like Jesus, who died without sin. We as humans, are far from perfect, and even after being saved, we sin at times. The holy spirit will let us know that we have sinned in one way or another. Once you sin, you are expected to come clean with God. Admit that you have sinned and ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ.

  7. Not sinless, per se, but:  "To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."  (Micah 6:8)

  8. The doctrines of repentance prayers and incremental sanctifictaion that dogs most Christians today is really profane fire offered to God. If Aarons two sons (Lev 10) were consumed by this false fire they offered to God, how much more will God not destroy all these wicked Christians???

Yes, God requires us to be sinless and righteous because no sinner can ever stand before Him and live. He made a way for us to become righteous right now, but many Chistians are standing in opposition to Him and His gospel, saying that they have to remind Him that they are and will always be sinners, even though He came to take it all away with His water baptism and blood on the Cross......what an unholy thing this is??? How can repenting of sins ever get rid of them once and for all???? What profane lies pastors have been teaching???? They themselves don't know, so how in heavens name can they teach people the truth. Would you go to someone who is drowning to save you from drowning???

Therefore, everyone must listen up and run to this river of life, for if you delay and begin arguing, then all that remains for you is eternal separation from God.

  9. There is no excuse for sin.

  10. Biblical repentance is changing your mind about Jesus Christ and turning to God in faith for salvation (Acts 3:19). Turning from sin is not the definition of repentance, but it is one of the results of genuine, faith-based repentance towards the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are they expected to be sinless by who?

  11. some people expect us to be sinless just because we are christian. but the fact is, we are not perfect. we are human just like everyone else. just because we mess up does not make us hypocrites...it makes us human.

  12. We are definately not expected to be sinless.  In fact, we are EXPECTED to sin.  If we were capable of going through life sinless there would have been no reason for Christ to sacrifice himself for us.  We are expected to strive for spiritual maturity which warrants that we learn to recognize our behavior for what it is and repent of those behaviors that are harmful or hurtful.  It is a maturation process.
