Your illness would not have an effect on the outcome of the life insurance qualification. The health examiner is going to withdraw some blood, gather urine, get your height, check your weight, and check your blood pressure.

Unless your illness is severe enough to send you to the hospital, then that may disqualify you or put you in a non-preferred rate class.
