Does a Gouldian Finch need a friend?

i work at Petsmart and i am getting a gouldian finch tomorrow...im adopting her because she broke her leg and will never be able to use it correctly. I'm not sure if i need to get her a friend though. I'm afraid she will become lonely. If i need to get a friend do you think it would be ok to get a society finch to go with her? i can't afford another gouldian finch i can only afford her because i get her for free!

Yes, they need a friend.   A society finch would probably work fine (they're allot less aggressive than other breeds, right?
