Does a Louisiana teacher moving to Texas need a TX teaching certificate and what else is required?

I know that here in Florida, teachers are hired and given 2 years to get the Florida Certificate. They need to have their degree plus show their transcripts to show the classes they took in college.  Then you get a temporary certificate that lasts 2 years. During that time you get your Florida. I am sure it is the same in most states.
