Does a NOT_AT_FAULT accident affect my insurance rate?

  1. Nope. You may have to provide a copy of the police report to prove it though.


  2. In the UK it means that in theory it has no affect on the gross premium. But it will affect the no claims discount as it's "no claims", not "no blames", so a lesser discount=higher insurance premium.

    No fault also means that you should be able to recover any policy excesses levied if you have uninsured losses cover.

  3. If it is 100% not your fault as found by the insurance companies, it should not effect your rates
