Does a Parker Brother's Ouija board work or is it just fake?

You know the plastic glow-in-the-dark ones that are sold at K-mart for about $19.99?

Different people have different opinions about them.  Part of me thinks it is the people using them that makes them work, but another part of me thinks there is more to it than that.  My own personal feeling is that I would never own or touch one or allow one in my house.  Why chance inviting evil into your life?
