Does a Yamaha CT-1B have an oil injector?

It is a 1970 and it has a place to put oil in under the seat, next to the battery compartment. It is a 175 and I just found out it is a 2 stroke.

Yes it does have an oil injector (oil pump).

Use 2 cycle oil made for injector type engines.

The engine turns the pump and a cable regulates how much oil to inject, according to the engine speed.

The throttle cable splits into two cables at a junction.

One goes to the carburetor and the other goes to the oil pump.

The cable and pump may need adjustment.
