  1. no, a passport is a paying service,which you want, and not given by any government, to get a passport? you must apply for it, and pay out of your pocket.

    there are circumstances, in which a child born in Canada may not be a citizen, let's say, born from a father that works in a diplomatic post, and the mother from another country, the child would not be a Canadian citizen. otherwise most births in Canada, are citizen.


  2. A baby born in Canada would automatically get Canadian citizenship, not a Canadian passport. Just like in the states you actually have to apply for a passport through the government. I'm pretty positive they don't just give it to you when you're born.
