  1. no

  2. NO!

  3. of course not if you put more people in the boat than the boat can put out water of it's place it will sink. ( the bigger the boat the more people it can hold)

  4. Absolutely not, it still displaces the same amount of water, only it weighs more, therefore, it does not float better with more people and is actually more inclined to sink

  5. The answer is yes and no.   If you exceed the weight carrying limit the boat is not going to float very well, could become unstable and capsize.  If the people are loaded correctly and stay low, lowering your center of gravity the stability of the vessel will increase.   If the passengers are placed high, raising the center of gravity the vessel will be less stable.

People or cargo - it is the weight loaded that matters.     Same applies to large cargo vessels.

  6. Well, this is a loaded question. Pun intended. Do you mean every single person will get on in the stern? Or every person will weight down the bow? Being a good captain means you know how your boat performs best, and how that load should be distributed. To simply dismiss your question out of hand is wrong. Many, many boats are designed for load, but that load has to be balanced correctly.

  7. Either it float or it doesn't.  There no such thing as floating BETTER.

    Good Luck...

  8. If the weight is more evenly distributed, then it will float more balanced. However, it is more inclined to capsizing.
