Does a broken camera screen have to do with computer connection?

My camera screen broke, and since then it has not been able to connect to my computer.

What should I do?

  1. Camera screen has nothing to do with the computer connection.

    I thing some thing more happened to your camera..

    Just take it to the priority .


  2. Most probably something else also broke when you broke the screen. I'm guessing that it has taken a fall?

    If it is just the screen, you should not have any other problem besides not being able to see any displays on the screen.

    If you want the pics in the camera, take out the memory card and connect it to your PC using a card reader and you can transfer the photos out that way.

  3. Is your screen dark or have a physical crack? It's common for back-lighting-units to fail without any consequence to the rest of the camera. If they went down together, it sounds like your camera may have sustained physical shock that broke multiple elements. If no physical abuse and everything doesn't work, it's usually the power supply. Not the adapter but the PS inside your camera. To eliminate user error before sending it in for an unnecessary repair, you'll have to try a lot of things such as whether the battery is dead.
