  1. yup.

my one rabbit makes this gravelly growling or grunting  noise if I don't feed her fast enough, or if I walk past her cage without letting her out.

My other rabbit almost constantly makes this sort of oinking/ grunting sound, it's hard to explainShe doesn't shut up! .She does it when she's eating, grooming, or being held/petted, when she lies down to nap or if she's scared. And both of them "purr"!That's what it's called when a rabbit is content and they chatter their teeth rapidly. They both also squeak if they are struggling to get out of a nail-clipping or brushing session.

rabbits scream too.it's like a high-pitched squeal. That always happens when a bunny is dying or thinks its going to die.

  2. They don't make a 'happy' sound, but they will growl if they're really mad

  3. THEY make litle squeaks and sniffing noises but i never heared my rabbit do anything else

  4. Not really.

They can growl when annoyed or defensive, but generally they won't make a noise in the way cats/dogs do.

  5. sometimes it will make a clicking sound and if you pick up the skin on thier back they squeal.

  6. only if they are trying to defense themselves

  7. no it doesnt bark or meow!!!!!

im not really sure how a bunny sounds actually

    i think can growl though

  8. Rabbits "howl" only in extreme circumstances.  Its loud and shrill and very disturbing to hear.  Most likely, you never will hear it.  I only heard this once in 15 years after a rabbit got loose and was being attacked by a dog.

Oh yeah, and the "growling" people talk about is really just a grunting sound they make as a warning.

  9. Chinning:

Your bunny is rubbing her chin all over the furniture, the book your reading and you. This is just her way of marking her territory. She's saying, "Hey! This is mine.

    Growling:

If your rabbit growls or grunts at you, she's not happy about something. Maybe she's angry that you're poking your hand into her cage, and she doesn't want you in her territory. Growling can be a sign of anger, fear, uncertainty and stress. The better you get to know your bunny, the more you'll discover what her different growls mean.

    Crying:

Your bunny may cry. Sometimes a bunny will let out a little cry or whimper and thump their back feet. This is interpreted much as you would understand the same noise in puppies or people.

    l*****g:

If your bunny licks your face or your hands, be happy. She's telling you I love you!

    Screaming:

You never want to hear your bunny scream. A bunny scream is usually shrill. It's a heart-breaking sound, and it generally signifies your bunny is either hurt or dying. You'll want to get her help immediately.

    Flopping:

Your bunny is on top of the world. She is so happy, she can think of no better way to show her happiness than flopping over, eyes closed, taking some time to relax.

    Binkying:

You've got one happy bunny on your hands. She's gyrating, dancing, hopping high in the air and shooting across the room at lightening speed. She's so happy she's a bunny and living with you.

    Thumping:

Your bunny will thump her back legs for a number of reasons including fear, anger and warning you to danger lurking.
