  1. a homesohooled kid is spose to do every thing a realguar child does no expections...


  2. If it's a test that's required of every student in the state no matter where they go to school (public, private, or homeschooled), then yes, they'd be required to take it.  The reason for homeschooling does not affect how the laws apply to you.

    However, if it's a test that is part of the evaluation for NCLB, then no, it would not apply to homeschoolers.  It would probably apply to kids in a virtual public charter school, but other than that, homeschoolers are not subject to NCLB testing, requirements, or evaluations.  NCLB only applies to public schools.

  4. no. the mcas is only for students who attend a public school in massachusetts.

  5. Isn't MCAS only in Massachusetts? If that is the case, homeschooled children who are homeschooled under the home education laws for Massachusetts aren't required to do any form of testing.
