Question:

Does a circling mouse always mean wry neck/a head tilt?

My female mouse is circling, she's very young, under half a year. She always circles in the same direction, and I can't really see a head tilt but I'm guessing it must be a slight one (she doesn't hold still much). She also has been biting her rear a lot, either that or her cagemates have but I suspect it's her since it's a place where she can easily reach. Either way she's removed from her cagemates but is still circling constantly and seems really nervous. Any ideas?

  1. I had a mouse once, but it was a baby field mouse.  I saw it might be a possible sign of early deafness, but I don't feel too confident about answering this, so I'll give you some websites that could help:

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11924...

I think the last two would be of better help, just my thoughts though.  I hope you can find out!  Just googling it, I've seen a couple other things than a wry neck and head tilt.
