  1. yes lt does

  2. my partners parents are like that. its really clean, but its as if they've run out of room to put things, that it all ends up in piles everywhere, and how could cant see any sides, or even the coffee table under it all.

whereas my parents keep the house spotless, everything has to put away, and if there's no room, it goes!

it was really hard to get my head around when i first startedvisitings, but the more i go over the more i get used it, and well, our place is now half and half which i'm comfortable with..

so in other words, it used too bother me...

  3. Clutter only bothers me when I go to my mother-in-law's. The reason it bothers me there is because she makes such a fuss about my house being cluttered when mine is super tidy compared to hers. She's such a hypocrite. In a nutshell, no, it doesn't bother me because I'm also a clutter-er. When I work 9-10 hours a day, I have two adorable kids I'd rather spend my off time with, instead of tidying.

  4. Yes it bothers me a lot! I know it's not my house, but when I go to my MIL's house, it's a nightmare. I have to throw dirty clothes, stuffed animals, used tissues, food, etc. off the couch just to sit down. Her counters are piled high with unopened years worth of mail. The kitchen sink is piled high with tupperware, dirty dishes, clean dishes, etc. It's very hard NOT to notice her house being a mess. My house is immaculate, esp. when I know I'm having company.

I'm a tidy person, and glad!

  5. I don't care about anyone else's home, but my own has to be kept neat. I still work full time so it's always a work in progress. I make my bed as soon as I get up before I even leave the room. I'll vacumm and dust one day, clean the bathroom another. Wash a load of clothes every other day, etc. If I have 20 minutes to kill before I leave for work, I might wipe the refrigerator off or go through a stack of magizines and take with me to work any I'm finished with and leave them in the break area.

  6. other people's houses messes do not bother me at all.

  7. I cant stand it.  If its in someone else's house, thats fine cause I can always leave.  I dont understand why people are ok with that.  I cant relax unless the house is clean and organized.
