Does a cluttered or messy home indicate an unsettled mind or an unhappy person?

I heard somewhere that if your home is full of clutter or is messy that it indicates a person who is not very happy or has things bothering them. Is there any truth to that?

yes, it reflects what's going on inside. not necessarily unhappy though. sometimes you just have better or more important things to do. maybe you're just that laid back.
