Does a comp program for stippling exist?

i read mention of one a couple days ago but cant find that site again.

Photoshop has a few ways to simulate the effect.  Airbrush, low pressure, large diameter brush.  Maybe I'd do it in bitmapped mode rather than in greyscale.

I can't say for sure, since, for stippling, I'd still rather do it with a pen point, one dot at a time.  I wouldn't want to give up control of my shading effects to the computer.
