I know of a scamming trailer dealer that only puts his license number, which is cryptic, at the end of his listing with no explanation that he is a deaer. I know dealers have to pay to list but I think this guy is selling without paying listing fees. Is there a way to tell if his listing has been paid for?

  1. There is a PostingID number at the bottom of every post on CL. Write his down, if he has more than one write all that you can find down. Then,  On the Left hand side of your CL home page there is a link that says "help, faq, abuse, legal" click it. Then at the very bottom of the page on the Right hand side there is a l**k that says "send us a note" click it. Then select "billing" issue fill out your name, e-mail address, tell your complaint, and let them know what is going on also include the PostingID number/s that you wrote down earlier. Then push send. Hope that this helps.

  2. First- It my state of Colorado it is against the law to advertise without the dealers name or the word dealer in the add.  Give me the add and I bet I can pick out 10 violations of the law.
