  1. What is your criminal record? Back in the day all cops had records, today they are so strict it can be tough. I have an uncle who was a cop for 20 years, tried to get on a diff department and because 20 years earlier he had admitted to smoking pot in hs while getting his first poliec job they wouldn't let h im on, he had to sue to get on.

  2. These days I would think a criminal record would be a plus as a police officer.

  3. Heck no, man, it just shows you like to party with the other fellas and gals on the force!!  Party on!!

  4. in the united states, a felony bars you from becoming a police officer. however after the background check, anything that is fishy about your past can prevent you from being hired

  5. That's not a criminal record.

    I'd appeal or look elsewhere.

  6. you are definitely not telling the truth or the entire store.no such thing as a caution in the usa.you may be warned of something here but it goes on no ones recored. try telling the truth and maybe we can understand.
