Does a degree in atmospheric science require alot of math?

are there any careers in weather, atmosphere, clouds, that you dont have to take alot of hard math?

  1. well if you're talking about meteorology.. i suppose.. it really requires good mathematic, calculus and physics..


  2. A definite YES!  You will need it to pass your required physics courses.

    Broadcast Meteorology may require less math and physics.

    A weather observer is one job that does not required as much math.  However, those jobs will pay much lower and are very competitive and may not be very exciting in certain locations.  It may also be a dying career field with the expansion of better quality high tech remote sensing equipment.
