each park has its own annual pass and they are not interchangeable. they will not work at any other park.

Nope. Sorry. A Disneyland Hong Kong annual passport for is ONLY for Hong Kong.  Each resort have their own special Annual Passport that can NOT be used at any other resort.

When the Florida park opened and both parks started the annual pass, Disney thought it wouldn't be fair for the Californian Annual Passport Holders ($379.00) to pay the same amount as Floridians ($543.15) especially if a Californian never goes to the Florida resort.  (Trust me if you live in CA, you really wouldn't want to go there every year.  It's way too much of a hassle to travel there and the cost to travel nowadays is pricey.)   That's a big price difference so they decided each resort will have their own.

Now if you're loaded, an additional annual passport  for another resort is just chuck change.
