Filipinos don't need visa to enter Malaysia for tourist visit up to 30 days. The SEA nation including Philippines signed an agreement (similar to the Schengen agreement from EU) that its members can enjoy a visa-free entry to each other. Free ports also include Singapore (I was given 30 days entry when I went there last April), Macao, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong kong (14 days only) and Malaysia.

When I went to Malaysia, my first Asian visit, I was given 30 days entry. Make sure that you have confirmed return ticket though when you arrive for immigration formalities.

Moreover, you can also visit Morocco and Brazil without visa for 30 days tourist visit.
