Does a horse count as a farm animal?

stupid question i know but does it? lol my sister seems to think it is but now i'm not sure...

  3. Yes horses are considered farm animals and you can only keep them in areas which are zoned for farm animals. You can't keep a horse in your backyard even if you have the room because of that fact. Can't keep cattle, pigs, burros or even those miniature ponies in a typical suburban backyard either.
