1. No way!

  2. No. Cyclones, Hurricanes, etc. all flow in a cirlcular motion toward the center. The opposition betweed direction of flow on north and south hemispheres of the earth is called the Coriolis Effect, it is caused by the rotation of the Earth. This only occurs in extremely large variables. The earth spins only once per day, where as a sinks draining water will rotate once in just a a few seconds. The rate of spinning being so much faster proves that the rotation of the earth could have no effect on it. The weather patterns however are controlled by air flow, which is somewhat controlled by the Earth's rotation (somewhat meaning only in direction, not vilocity).

Now. Blood flow on the other hand, is not controlled by the rotation of the Earth, air flow, air pressure, not anything like that. It is only controlled by the heart. The human heart works as a biological pump. The heart has four chambers through which blood is pumped. The upper two are the right and left atria. The lower two are the right and left ventricles. Four valves open and close to let blood flow in only one direction when the heart beats. Each valve has a set of flaps (also called leaflets or cusps). The mitral valve has two flaps. The others have three. Under normal conditions, the valves let blood flow in just one direction. Blood flow occurs only when there's a difference in pressure across the valves that causes them to open.

Random thoughts are good, and cause one to be educated, and come up with new ideas and concepts. Keep on thinking!

  3. No. And that thing about drains/cyclones going the opposite direction in the Southern Hemisphere has been proven to be false as well.

  4. Nope, heart pumps same direction in each hemisphere.

    Random thoughts are fun though

  5. ROTFLMSFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I kinda doubt it ☺

  6. No.

And neither does water down a drain, contrary to popular belief...trust me! I have conducted thorough investigations on drains, sinks & toilets in both hemispheres, and the Coriolis Effect does not impact such tiny masses, only huge water or air masses.....

But keep thinking hard...a brain that thinks such things is always becoming a better "tool" for understanding the real world, and who knows what you might figure out next!

  7. Don't be daft...
