  1. Actually yes, surprisingly.

    Although the ice cube itself is cold, it melts, therefore there must be heat.

    When the human body or any part of the human body feels temperatures that are lower than normal, it automatically starts to produce more heat, because the cells are trying to keep the body and its limbs at a constant, same temperature, which would in this case involve producing more heat to vanquish the source of cold. The ice cube will melt, and eventually (quite quickly for the most part) will become of normal body temperature again because of the extra heat produced by the body in the attempt to keep it warm.

    Hope that I didn't mess that up and make it too hard to understand xD I have a hard time explaining things sometimes.


  2. Anything above absolute zero contains heat to potentially radiate, but if it colder than the ambient temperature, the heat will flow into the colder object.

    So the ice cube will absorb heat, not release it.
