Does a laptop pull alot of electricity?

i had my a.c open yesterday at the same time my laptop was plugged in and the electricity kept busting, does anyone know if a laptop pulls alot of electricity?

No, a laptop does not draw a lot of power. It is, at most, about 15 watts. However, if the circuit is already overloaded by an air conditioner or other heavy appliance, that 15 watts could make a difference.
