  1. Audio recording equipment varies, and it all has different power requirements -- which do not depend on frequency.

    One type of recorder may use a few watts only, another may use several hundred watts. There is no coorelation.


  2. When recording the electromagnetic head creates a very small current from north to south and vice-verse. The specs. on magnetic head will vary depending on manufacturing. If you want to know the powered required to record try to get the specification for that particular head from the manufacturer.
