Does a lysosome function in lipid hydrolysis?

this is for my ap biology class. i don't know the answer and i don't want to fail this class

  1. Yes, a lysosome is a very versitale organelle and it does function in many inviornments including the lipid hydrolysis, now go get laid  


  2. Yes.  Lysosome destroys old organelles, and has proteinases, lipase and nucleotidases to break down all parts of the organelles, including lipids.
