He can get a court ordered DNA test an if proven to be the father then yes.

YES HE DOES .. Also the baby has the right to know who his/her father is ..no one should take that from them ...I went to court 1st wen she was 6months pregnant & wanted me off the scene already..I now have custody of my son as the mother could not provide a secure enviroment ... It took court cases for her to admit paternity.but a DNA test would have come next if she refused..U don't need a lawyer or big money .. I did it all myself over 17 yrs now & still b4 the courts... The big issue is the child  & how best to protect & provide for them .. WE have not evolved that much from the cave-man days .. we still must PROTECT & PROVIDE for wat is our responsiblity.. I did .... now I [& my wife} have pride & 7 more kids.. Ur lifes direction is a direct result of ur decisions..It's up to you not wat others may think .say .believe

According to me only solution is go for DNA test.

He would have to have a DNA test done by the cort this would aso trigger child support if you want it. If the "father" is dangerus you han have supervised visits.

Well if he gets a paternity test and is the babies father, yes he has rights, and so he should.....the child has a right to know where he/she came from,

He can always ask for a DNA test, then if he is proven to be the father; yes.
