Does a marine biologist make good money?

I'm looking into the Field of a mix of marine biology and photography...i want to study see life but take pictures like as a profession. do they make good money?

  1. nope, not really. especially not when you are just beginning.

    the average marine biologist will earn between £15,000 and £45,000 (British pounds), the higher end of the scale being Professors and lecturers. the most money in marine biology is in governmental research or in fisheries biology as these are the areas which most directly affect humanity.

    edit: its about $30000- $90000 a year

    marine bio and photography probably won't make you much money but you will have an amazing job doing amazing things.

    I love being a marine biologist, the money is c**p but I love my job and wouldn't change it for the world!
