Ya I just recently installed a jbl 4 channel mids and high amp and i also have a sub amp for my 2 12" subs and it seems now that my subs barley even kick any more? is this normal? or is there any way you can fix it? maybe by adjusting the mids and high amp putting it at a lower gain? thanks guys

  1. It actually sounds like the main power and ground wires aren?t sufficient for the load. In that case the two amps would compete for the power from the alternator.

What size cable are you using and what is the output of the alternator?

  2. If you have an active cross over and separate amps for subs, mids and highs, you should not be robbing anything from the subs.
