Question:

Does a mouth ulcer really hurt this bad?

It's located on the roof of my mouth in the middle, however the pain shoots all the way down to my right jaw, almost near my neck.

I can't chew anything, drink OJ, or lemonade without it hurting.

Even very cold water hurts.

I checked it with a mirror and it almost looks like a sore. Ouch

To be honest I don't even know if it's an ulcer anymore.

  1. Yes, try these:

For Mouth Pain due to Canker Sores, Biting or Burns

    • Zilactin-B by Zila Pharmaceuticals

    • OraBase by Colgate

    • Rincinol P.R.N. by John O. Butler

    • Orajel—Mouth Sore Medicine Gel or Discs by Orajel Co.

    • Available over the counter at most pharmacies.

    • If the lesion does not heal in 10-14 days please call for an appointment to have it checked.

  2. I would suggest that you go and see a dentist right away! How long have you had the sore? How did you develop the sore in the first place?
