  1. No.  An ionizer will not "cancel" a magnetic field.

No.  And furthermore, there is no such thing as a negative ionizer.  That would create negative ions that would be atoms or molecules with one more electron than they want.  If they don't want that extra electron, they will throw it away.  You can have positive ions since that implies you ripped an electron away from the atom and the atom can't get another one back to replace it.  But there is no way to force an atom to accept an electron it doesn't want.  Positive ions only occur in water (or other solvents), where the liquid molecules allow the positive ion to persist.
