Does a pawn shop really take everything??

ok so i wanted to sell a car seat and high chair and some baby clothes at a pawn sho but do they really take that stuff??

I've never seen baby stuff at a pawn shop.  Usually it is jewelry, electronics, guns, tools and that kind of stuff.

You might have better luck selling your stuff on craigslist.

They'll probably take it, don't know how much you'll get though. If that doesn't work, you could try sell online through Craigslist.

No, they tend buy items that have value, retain value, or increase in value.  They seldom buy stuff, that has a limited market.  The shops that do don't stay in business too long.

Best way to sell those types of things, word of mouth, local newspaper or donate for tax break.

they would take those items in good shape, a consignment shop would do you better than a pawn shop.   check around and see if there is a good baby shop in your area, i would hate to see you cheated by a pawn shop on your items.   also with a consignment shop you can get store credit and get items for your kids in their sizes or trade up for what you need

Sorry, pawnshops won't take that type of merchandise.

Try eBay, garage sales, thrift stores, Craig's List, etc.

They night take the car but the other stuff is of too low value.

Plus pawn shops give you about 30% less than the item is actually worth so you're better selling your car yourself

dont think they will take baby stuff, defintely not baby clothes.

depends on the shop. but they will only give you like 5 bucks for it if they do take it.

Pawn shops give either 10% or less of what they think the price of it is. So if they think its worth 10 dollars they will only give you 1 dollar.

Your better off selling it online or in the newspaper or giving it to the good will and getting money back at the end of the year for it.

The car seat they might take but like the others side you are not going to get anything for it. As for the rest nope they don't usually take those things.

Maybe the car seat and high chair if one of the people working there is expecting a baby or their wife is expecting a baby, but that is the only way.
