Does a person's blood contain their DNA?

i was reading breaking dawn and i started wondering abt it since reneesme drinks ppl's blood when she was just conceived.

  2. I am pretty sure red blood cells do not have a nucleus and thus don't contain DNA. However you also have white blood cells in you blood which do contain DNA.

    DNa can only be found in chromosomes chromosomes are found in nuclei. Blood do not have nucleus and therefore, do not contain DNA.
