  1. What if you ride your bicycle thru?

  2. It doesnt make sense to go through a drive thru if you dont have a care, why dont you just walk inside and order

  3. Yes you need to be enclosed in a vehicle, for your safety,

    but also

IT'S HARDER TO REACH OUT OF A CAR WINDOW INTO THE BUILDING AND SNATCH MONEY OUT OF THE REGISTER THAN IF YOU ARE STANDING THERE

the real reason why, it's always about the money

  4. No you need to be in a car because it is a safety hazard if someone comes around the drive thru too fast you could get hit.  I used to work at Dunkin' Donuts and people always tried to use drive-thru on bikes just by walking.

I always had the same guy, he would walk up to the speaker and place his order and when he got to the window he would knock!!  We eventually had to tell him to come in.

  5. Some kid tried to go through a Wendy's drive through on his bike and got refused service.  I thought it was funny but it does make sense safety-wise.  It might be hard to see people if you're in a car in a drive-through.  Besides, they might not be expecting to see anyone there either.

  6. I've tried. It was after hours, I was super hungry, I told them I was homeless and I was hungry. I said, "Please help me, I haven't eaten for a couple of days and I just got some change." They did'nt help. I actually work on cars at a shop and I was really dirty too.  It was really sad.

  7. Does a person really have to be in a car to go through the drive-thru?  Yes, yes, and yes.  The operative word is "drive" not walk, bike, trot, crawl, hop, skip or jump.

  8. thats why it is best to carry a car door with you , you hold the door by your side then move along side the booth then wind the window down and order your food then make a BRUUUUM sound as you walk off.

  9. Actually at KFC, I ordered 2 root beer floats with my friend at the drive through on our bikes. We rode up to the window and the guy cussed us out. Then we went inside to pick up out floats and the guy didn't know the manager was by him. He got fired, we laughed and ran away so we didn't get our arses kicked.

  10. Yes you do for security reasons they do not allow you to walk up

  11. They'll ask you to go inside.

  12. thats kind of the point of it being called a drive thru. (sry about the rudeness....but it's true.)

  13. The whole point is to not have to park the car and walk inside. If you're gonna walk up to a drive-thru, might as well walk 3 more steps through the doors and buy the food inside.

Well, that's their logic. I'm thinking they don't want drunken retards flattened on the side of a drive-thru because the Hummer didn't see them there.

  14. lol, i dont mean to laugh, where i live yes you do, safty reason.

  15. Yes, if you are a pedestrian, go to the regular window  to be served.

  16. no, if you like looking like a tool.

  17. Because it's intended for motor vehicles, and someone walking up could get hurt, especially since people who do that are often not sober.

We live in a lawsuit-happy society.

  18. yes.  That is why it is called a drive thru.  not a walk thru.  LOL!

  19. No, both my friend and I walked through a Carl's Jr. drive through and got service.  Try it.
