yeah they are still around. younger people use 'em because they don't kickhard and skilled skeet shooters because they have a smaller spread that makes it harder to hit targets

People say about .410 shell costing more, but they're wrong. They are on par with other shot sizes.

sure, in fact, they have grown a little in popularity over the last few years. Unfortunatlely, they are more expensive than 12 or 20 gauge. I see them quite often at gunstores, cabela's etc.

yes you can still get them. They are great for squirrel, rabbits or a young child( to use, not to shoot). But most of the time the shells do cost more. One reason for this is that it is mainly used for trap and skeet. The guys who use them for that want the best round in competition. So Remington only makes them in the STS format. The only cheap boxes ive seen them in is 6 shot. So if you want it for birds you pay the premium.

A: Are you asking if .410 shotguns are still around?  Yes they are.  They are very utilitarian especially around the farm/ranch to dispatch snakes and other small vermin. Or are you asking if .410 shotgun shell can still be purchased?  Yes they can.  Check at Academy and other sporting goods stores or gun shops.
