  1. they have hair that like when you give a dog pig ears they have hair on them

Most domestic pigs have widely spaced hairs on their body which do not protect them either from the sun or from the cold.  However, wild boars and some pigs designed for use in southern climates do have fur (which is just a lot of hair). The furry pigs were preferred in the south to protect them from getting too burned in the sun (yes, pigs can and do get sunburned).
