Does a player in pool get a additional shot if they hit in one of there balls along with an opponents ball?

  1. The r various rule versions of 8-ball.  I play "World Rules" that state if u pot an opponents ball, even with 1 of your balls, it is a foul shot and you give away an additional shot.  This is in Australia.  I don't know what is the most common set of rules is world wide.


  2. A player continues his turn at the table as long as they pocket their designated ball in their designated pocket without a foul. Pocketing an opponents ball in this case is not a foul. This also assumes the cue ball hit their ball first.

  3. As long as you hit and pocket your ball first it is no problem if your opponents ball is hit as well.  You would continue your turn.

  4. If your ball goes in the called pocket in the called way than it doesn't matter if you make your opponents ball
