Does a playstation game from uk work in the netherlands?

Hi im buying a playstation 2 game for the singstar from the united kingdom however im in the netherlands.

Will the game work on my playstation?

I think uk uses the same PAL version and the netherlands but im just asking to be sure.

Hi there.

If you are SURE that Netherlands is a PAL country then YES, it will work.

And yes, you are right that UK uses PAL version. You can play any PAL Ps2 games on your PAL Ps2 console.

( Just for example )But America, Canada are NTSC countries. Which means if you buy Ps2 games from them, it wouldn't work on your PAL Ps2.
