Does a printer have to be wireless, or are there adaptors to make it wireless?

If there are adaptors, which ones would you recommend?

If there are no adaptors, what good printer (and preferably scanners) would you recommend that are wireless compatible?

Just tired of having to email/bluetooth files from laptop to desktop.

  1. i know how u feel, no, there arent any adapters, but epson and HP offer a wide range of wirless printers, but honestly although i think the HP quality is higher, its very complicated than other printer brands

  2. Yes there is , some will even support a Multifunction Printer so that everyone can use all the functions

    Here's one I am happy using:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/120353

    Features

        * Connect and share your all-in-one printer with your network - over wireless

        * Supports multifunction-printer features such as printing, scanning, faxing

        * Eliminates need for a dedicated PC for printing

        * Works with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 printers

        * Compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g

        * Belkin Lifetime Warranty

    Hope this helps

  3. you could try using an apple aiport express. It has a USB port that allows you to connect a printer. I can print to it using windows XP and Mac OS machines without any problems (canon mfp600, or something like that). Plus you get the added advantage of being able to play music through iTunes to it, or use it to extend the coverage of your wireless network if you have an airport extreme base station.
