If yes, what are the things must be present on that company id? Do the employees must have identification number on their company id?

If no, how can a proprietor represent the company without bring the documents of the company?

  1. No.

Most business operates on trust.  (Sure it sounds corny, but when you hired a lawn mowing service, a carpenter, a window washer did you ask for any proof that they were in business?

What we depend on in most cases are appearances.  With the most common things being uniforms, signs on the truck and business cards.

Aside from that (for the skeptics among you) even if someone did show at the front door with some form of documentation how can you tell if it is valid?  For all you know it could be either forged or completely bogus.

By the way, I have yet to encounter a small company that uses employee numbers rather than names or initials to identify their people.

    Hope the helps
