Does a ps3 on work on hd televisions?

please can someone tell me is ps3's only work on hd televisions ?

PS3 will work on any more or less modern TV, but HDTV will give you the best picture (PS3 supports up to 1080p).

The PS3 will definitely work on HD tv's, it was designed to be a multimedia hub for hd tv. In order to be able to play at 1080i or 1080p you will require the separate purchase of a HDMI cable which can be expensive. I got mine off ebay for $15! Without this cord you HD tv will not be fully utilizing the PS3's graphics, but the picture will still be extremely high quality!

PS3 works on all TV's NOT JUST HDTV's

ps3 work on pretty much every tv. If your tv isn't hd it will still work. If it is hd to get the best quality image you would need a hdmi cable.
